| Mission news from Capital Park. |
The Mexico missions team returned safe and mostly sound on Sunday March 30th. It was reported that the trip was a great success, and that all the members from the greatest to the smallest were greatly encouraged in their faith through their participation in the VBS and building projects. There were some minor mishaps along the way, but the Lord was faithful to supply for their needs. The hear more about the trip..........attend Sunday School this Sunday, April 13th. as they will be giving all the details.

| District Missions team leaves for Guatemala on June 13th. |
|
The group will be leaving on June 13 and returning on June 21. Please keep us in your prayers. There are 5 people from the Spokane church, 4 from the Aumsville church, and 21 from Medford going. We will be in Guatemala at the same time as 2 other groups from Wesleyan churches in Michigan. One of them will be a medical team and the other will also be doing VBS and construction. Our construction will consist of building 2 houses, and working on the large multi-purpose building at the Promised Land (property that Impacto owns and is preparing to use for housing teams, training pastors, and hosting camps).
One other project we are taking on this trip is to get the pastors together for an evening when we will be giving them some gifts. A sort of "Christmas in June" with some of the suggested gift items being simple things like combs, beans and rice, anti-biotic ointments etc. These are all things that we have in our home and take for granted, but the unpaid pastors in many countries do not have the ability to purchase. They will also get a medical exam from the medical team, and each pastor and his family will spend time in prayer with people from our team.
Please pray for everyone on our team as this is the time when Satan starts to attack and works to interfere with God's plans. As is typical many of the people who are planning to go do not have all the funds raised yet. Also please pray for the people who we will be ministering to. It has been a real blessing in past years to have children and their mothers accept Christ during VBS, as well as whole families surrender their lives to God as a result of the house building. We have even seen "missionaries" from the states accept Christ and make a decision to turn their lives over to him while on these trips.
Thanks for helping keep this in front of people. As you know with prayer we can have a great trip. If we try to do it on our own strength we will fail.
